Procurement of Contract for the Purchase of Steel Grinding Media for the Cement Ball Mill Production Process

Habesha Cement S.C. Invites legally registered suppliers for the procurement of steel balls for the cement ball mill’s grinding chamber in the plant’s cement manufacturing process. The specifications listed below applied to the size and tonnage of steel balls required for the purchase.

Interested eligible bidders must have

• Licenses valid for the current Ethiopian Fiscal Year (EFY),
• A trade license valid for the current Ethiopian Fiscal Year (EFY).
• A valid VAT Registration Certificate,
• TIN Certificate, and a valid Tax Clearance certificate.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bidders must have an approved Letter of Credit (LC) at hand from a recognized bank for the
• importation of the goods:
• The delivery period must not exceed a one-month period.

Bidders shall clearly specify their price offer for the Steel Balls as per the specification provided, as well as any applicable tax and related expenses there maybe.

Bids must be submitted on or before 30 March 2024, at 10:00 A.M. to the address shown below. Bids will be officially opened on the same day at 10:30 A.M in the presence of designated representatives of bidders who chooses to attend. The National Competitive Bidding (NCB) process will be used to conduct the bidding, which is accessible to all qualified bidders and is described in the bidding materials. The detailed qualification criteria and specifications for the intended service are stated in the bidding documente
